1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations between Pet House s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the "Salon") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Client") when providing grooming services for dogs and cats.

1.2. By booking an appointment, the Client confirms that they have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

2.1. The Salon provides:

  • bathing,
  • drying,
  • haircuts,
  • trimming,
  • de-shedding,
  • hygienic grooming,
  • ear and eye cleaning,
  • nail trimming,
  • and other grooming services according to the current offer.

2.2. The scope of the service may vary depending on:

  • coat condition,
  • size of the animal,
  • behavior of the animal,
  • health condition,
  • technical difficulty and duration of the procedure.

2.3. The safety and psychological well-being of the animal always take priority over achieving the requested result.

3. Appointment Booking

3.1. Appointments may be booked:

  • by phone,
  • by e-mail,
  • through social media,
  • or via the Salon's website.

3.2. Appointments are considered binding once confirmed.

3.3. The Salon reserves the right to refuse or cancel an appointment.

4. Late Arrival

4.1. If the Client arrives more than 15 minutes late:

  • the service may be shortened,
  • modified,
  • rescheduled,
  • or completely cancelled.

4.2. The Client acknowledges that late arrival may disrupt the Salon schedule and other appointments.

5. Cancellation Policy and No-Shows

5.1. If the Client:

  • fails to attend without notice,
  • or cancels the appointment at the last minute,

the Salon reserves the right to require payment equal to 100% of the previously booked service before accepting another booking.

5.2. The Salon reserves the right to refuse future appointments to Clients who repeatedly violate booking policies.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1. Prices listed on the website and social media are approximate.

6.2. Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • the size of the animal,
  • coat density and length,
  • severity of matting,
  • behavior of the animal,
  • complexity and duration of the procedure.

6.3. Severely neglected or heavily matted coats may require additional time and incur an extra charge.

6.4. Payment is due after completion of the service:

  • in cash,
  • or by available cashless payment methods.

7. Animal Health Condition

7.1. The Client confirms that the animal:

  • does not suffer from infectious diseases,
  • is free of parasites,
  • is medically fit for grooming.

7.2. The Client is required to inform the Salon about:

  • aggressive behavior,
  • epilepsy,
  • heart conditions,
  • allergies,
  • skin problems,
  • recent surgeries,
  • injuries or sensitive areas.

7.3. The Salon is not responsible for complications caused by undisclosed health conditions.

8. Parasites and Hygiene Fee

8.1. If fleas or other parasites are discovered, the Salon may:

  • refuse the service,
  • interrupt the service,
  • or continue the service with an additional hygiene fee.

8.2. The hygiene fee covers additional cleaning and disinfection costs.

9. Matted and Severely Tangled Coats

9.1. In cases of severe matting, it may be necessary to:

  • significantly shorten the coat,
  • or completely shave the coat.

9.2. The Salon does not perform painful or inhumane de-matting procedures.

9.3. After removing heavily matted fur, the following may occur:

  • irritation,
  • redness,
  • itching,
  • abrasions,
  • bruising,
  • previously hidden skin problems.

9.4. Severely neglected or sensitive coats carry an increased risk of minor skin irritation or injury that may not always be avoidable.

9.5. Such reactions are not considered service defects.

10. Aggressive or Highly Stressed Animals

10.1. The Salon reserves the right to refuse, interrupt, or discontinue the service if the animal:

  • behaves aggressively,
  • experiences severe stress,
  • or poses a danger.

10.2. The safety of staff and animals always takes priority.

10.3. Additional charges may apply for difficult handling.

11. Veterinary Emergency

11.1. In case of sudden health deterioration during the grooming procedure, the Salon is authorized to contact a veterinarian.

11.2. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the Client.

12. Client Presence During Grooming

12.1. For safety and stress-reduction reasons, Clients are not permitted in the grooming area during the procedure.

12.2. Clients may wait in the waiting area or will be contacted after completion of the service.

13. Pick-Up After Service

13.1. The Client is required to pick up the animal without unnecessary delay after notification that the service has been completed.

13.2. The Salon is not responsible for the animal after a reasonable period following completion notification.

14. Photos and Videos

14.1. The Salon may take photos and videos of animals for:

  • portfolio presentation,
  • marketing,
  • social media,
  • website publication.

14.2. If the Client does not agree to publication, they must inform the Salon before the procedure begins.

15. Personal Data Protection

15.1. The Salon processes personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations.

16. Final Provisions

16.1. These Terms and Conditions are valid from the date of publication.

16.2. The Salon reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions.
